Fiona Flower Cup Fairy

I had a real productive day and evening and managed to finish her sooner than I thought! I did not move from my art table but for few small snacks :-).

Meet Fiona, a Flower Cup Fairy.

She sits on a pedestal which was a great find for altered art. It is nice thick metal flower and then I altered it for her pedestal base. Up from middle of flower is sculpted clay leaves which are also hand painted and it has a metal core so its sturdy.



Her wings are so delicate and very colorful with plenty of fairy glitter, some flocking and then iridescent paints.



Her hair is Tibetan Lambs wool in blonde with white tips. Very wispy and delicate on her.



Ohhhh how I love little fairy shoes! I am always torn between sculpting pretty little feet or just sculpting fairy shoes. For her I opted for fairy shoes. I love to glitter up those cute tiny feet! Very tiny lace ribbon around her ankles makes her so dainty!!

Flower Cup Fairy

Whew! It feels good to be back creating my art work! I have missed my little creations and I am hoping you missed them too.

This my latest OOAK Sculpture. She is a petite little fairy. She measures only about 4", if her legs were straight she would be perhaps 5" fairy.

She was a real treasure to work on. She guided me the whole way and told me what she wanted to be. She has yet to tell me her name though. :-)




She is getting her finishing touches, some fairy dust/glitter, and of course her wings.



Her base is just about done and its beautiful. Final pictures should be later this week. The pictures were taken with my iphone. Soon as she is done she will get her professional photos.

OOAK Baby "Mira"

Hello! My first little baby sculpture in quite awhile. I missed working on these little sweeties. She is a 4" polymer clay sculpted baby.

I love the 3-4" sizes because they are so adorable to hold in the palm of your hand.




She has a white bunting with rose colored crochet edging.

Peg Babies!!!

Whew!! It has been quite awhile I have been here. Had to take a little hiatus. However, I am here now and ready to rock n' roll with my blog and my art work again!

I had to take time off completely from my artwork. I am now getting organized and back to normal again.

To kick off my return, I will be listing my latest pieces in my Etsy Shop. The original, One-Of-A-Kind, PEG BABIES!



These were a real treat and deviation from my normal art. I am fascinated with clothespin dolls and sat staring at a clothespin for quite awhile before I decided to try a baby head on one. The birth of my Peg Babies came to be. There will certainly be more of these soon.

They are vintage looking with lots of aging, crackling, and antiquing. They remind me of a carnival souvenir. FUN FUN!



The faces/heads are sculpted of air dry clay. They are all wearing little spun cotton top hats! They look dashing!



These will be put into my etsy shop early this week.
