Now that this is done I can continue with some creations. I am so organized now with so much more space it should really awaken my creativity.
It is so nice to be able to walk in here now. This one small room which is probably 12 x 12 houses my desktop server, my sewing machine work area, my sculpting supplies and sculpting table, a laptop with printer, and two clay ovens (a deni convection oven and a regular roasting oven), all my painting supplies, tons of fabric, and so much more. THe only thing still in the basement is wool and mohair. Just no room in here for those huge tubs! But this looks a whole lot better than before!

ReplyDeleteThat is what was happening to me. It would be real clean and then a mess again. And these episodes were getting too frequent and driving me crazy. I had baskets and bins and shoe boxes filled with supplies everywhere and nothing really had a spot that was assigned appropriately. The shelving cost me $104 -- not a bad investment to get organized. I do not think it will get messed up again because its organized well. It was worth the 2 days off from creating to get it done and I actually have more floor space now!

I am so jealous!!! I have organized and reorganized my area over and over and still have not been able to come up with that perfect way to make everything easily accessible. It drives my hubby crazy because at least once a month, everything in this room gets moved around...lol!! It looks really good! Have fun!!!
