Dreamcatcher Spirit & Lace Agate Spirit

I have always loved the colors turquoise and brown together and it is probably my favorite in addition to purple with green. So, of course, I just had to do a spirit doll in this combination. She then became Dreamcatcher Spirit - her little dreamcatcher is also handmade by me.



The belief is that a dreamcatcher changes a person's dreams. Only good dreams would be allowed to filter through. Good dreams would pass through and slide down the feathers to the sleeper. Bad dreams would stay in the net, disappearing with the light of day.



Her lips are soft in pink and she looks like she is dreaming to me. I have her head slightly tilted upward towards the sky. I love her colors and I added some feathers around her crown.



Lace Agate Spirit Woman

Her body fabric is a beautiful combination of fuschia's, teals, subtle golds, and rich blues. Many colors in her body. When I saw this fabric it reminded me of Lace Agate stone.



She will be called Lace Agate. I love agate stones and especially those that look like a mountain or desert landscape.



Agate is believed to discern truth, accept circumstances, and is a powerful emotional healer. Legend says that Agate improves memory and concentration, increases stamina and encourages honesty. Agate is said to be particularly beneficial to people born under the sign of Gemini as it helps them to remain calm and focused.
