Over the past month I have been wanting a felted handbag. So naturally I went to Etsy to look around. After 3 weeks of looking around Etsy I finally decided what I wanted my custom designed handbag to look like as far as a theme and colors. It was a "Sunburst" theme with a southwestern design for the colors.
So now that I knew what I wanted, I decided to put up an alchemy request to see what artists would want to design this bag for me. I received many wonderful artists inquiring and all their work was amazing. They were all great but nothing sparked me. I think perhaps it was because I was still somewhat unsure what I wanted it to look like. I was also in need of an artist to help extract this idea out of my head and take the lead on how to proceed but also not deviate from what I was looking for.
During my initial search for a felted handbag I came across Sheila at "Felted Fantasies". I told her I put up the alchemy request for my Sunburst bag and asked her to have a look and see if she would be interested. She came back right away with awesome ideas for me and colors too. With a few convo's in Etsy she was on her way to designing my bag.
I just got the pictures today of my bag and its done! Sheila was amazing and it was like she knew what was inside my head and what I wanted this bag to look like. She was very professional and boy let me tell you she has alot of patience - I am sure I drove her a little crazy with all my questions and wishes on how I wanted my bag. I knew she was the right one for the task because she did not hestitate once with all my questions and in helping me figure out what I wanted this bag to look like. She listened to me and what I was looking for and was extremely mindful to attention and detail. I needed an artist with the confidence to take the lead in knowing what would work best with the idea I had. Sheila did just that!
So here is my bag. I highly recommend Sheila of Felted Fantasies for any custom design felted handbag you may want. She knows how to get the job done when it comes to designing a felted handbag. I thank you Sheila for hanging in there with me over many Etsy convo's and being so patient with me and designing me such a beautiful felted handbag that is one of a kind! Thank you!

Oh that is sooo cool! I am so glad you found someone you could comfortably work with, that makes it fun and you will always feel good when you use it. I don't suppose she does Beetlejuice or Jack Sellington.. he he he ;)
