Welcome To My Blog

I finally have a blog. I will do my best to update my blog. I am not much of a writer and never have been.... but I will do my best to get used to this --- and try to post here regulary.

I want to thank all of my buyers for becoming owners of my artwork. When I create my pieces and they are finished, they truly are dear to my heart -- each and everyone one of them. I recently had someone email me and ask me "how can I stand to part with my creations". Sometimes I do get attached to my work. Especially the little babies and elves. I spend a good deal of time with them, paint their faces, bring them to life ... and then I name them. Whey they leave for their new home, I feel like their "mama". LOL. sounds silly, but sometimes it does tug at my heart to package them up in bubble wrap, put them in a box, and drop them off at the post office.

I anxiously await to hear about their arrival and the welcoming into their new home. It's crazy -- LOL, I know -- they are inanimate objects (but have so much life in them in many ways). Their little faces look up at me and I just feel their personalities. So call me koo-koo - HA! do you know any artists in history that weren't just a little koo-koo!

I receive so many wonderful emails about my artwork and I want to thank everyone for such kind words. You really make this alot of fun! Thank you for stopping by and I hope you come back to visit again.
